Graphene Laboratories Inc. is proud to announce the major expansion of its large-scale graphene coatings product line. Starting November 10th, 2011, the online store Graphene Supermarket® (www.graphene-supermarket.com), operated by Graphene Laboratories, began to offer single layer graphene deposited to a variety of insulating substrates; that includes silicon wafers with an oxide layer, glass, and transparent plastics. We are now selling highly concentrated graphene oxide solution at the lowest price per gram availalble. In addition, we have added two high-surface area materials: Reduced Graphene Oxide and ultrafine Graphene Nanoplatelets.

On October 3rd, Graphene Laboratories, Inc . announced that Dr. Jing Zhang has joined our team as a Research Scientist. She will be involved in all aspects of our R&D program, with a focus on thin film preparation for applications in solar cells, flexible coatings, and transparent conductive films.
Dr. Zhang has a Ph.D. in Materials Physics and Chemistry from the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, where she co-authored over a dozen of peer-reviewed public [ ... ]

Bent graphene from sonification
According to studies done by Dr. Polyakova and her research group at Columbia University in Manhattan, CVD graphene has less defects than CVD made by sonification and can still produce relatively high yields of graphene. You can find the full article by clicking here.

On Monday, August 1st, Graphene Laboratories has moved from the Boston high-tech area to join other high-tech start-ups at a facility in Calverton, New York.
Stony Brook University Incubator
The facility is owned and maintained by Stony Brook University, a flagship research institution of the State University of New York.
