Graphene Laboratories Inc. has announced today that our company has joined the Clean Energy Business Incubator Program (CEBIP). As a novel material, graphene can revolutionize many industries, including use for clean energy applications, a rapidly expanding field. The CEBIP program, run through Stony Brook University, and funded by the New York State Energy Research and Development Agency, assists emerging businesses in developing technology designed to promote renewable energy. CEBIP is targeted towards New York, and specifically Long Island, to lower the cost of energy, provide jobs and tax revenue, and preserve the environment.
Graphene Labs intends to support the mission of CEBIP by continuing to develop nanomaterials to be used in solar cells, energy storage devices, biosensors, and catalytic converters. Positively impacting the local economy and environment is important to us, and we look forward to continued involvement in the program.
CEBIP is partners with: New York State Energy Research and Development Agency, Long Island High Tech Incubator, Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center, Center for Excellence in wireless and Information Technology, Center for Advanced Technologies in Sensor Systems, Center for Biotechnology, Stony Brook Small Business Development Center, Advanced Energy Training Institute, Brookhaven National Laboratory, and the Stony Brook Incubator at Calverton.
